The purpose of the study is to examine the state of research on cancel culture in the context of the humanities. The phenomenon of cancel culture has recently demonstrated a significant increase in the frequency of publications in the social sciences. The article carries out an analysis taking into account the number of publications received related to the given topics, with a total of 980 documents for the years 1992-2024. Initially, Publish or Perish software was used to search and analyze scientific citations. It uses GoogleScholar to obtain raw citations, then analyzes them and outputs research dynamics. Then, using VOS viewer, bibliographic comparison and cartographic analysis were carried out. In addition, the most frequently occurring keywords in abstracts, titles and keywords were identified. As a result, the study showed that Meredith D. Clark was the most cited author (107 citations), 7 of them are in the status of "cited publication having a significant impact on the citing publication." Out of 980 publications, only 495 articles from 2006 to 2024 were included in Harzing's PoP citation index, and the number of citations per year on the topic of cancel culture was 236.33. It is expected that this report can be used as a reference material by novice users and will help researchers to conduct the selection of research topics. Thus, mapping the analysis of bibliometric data involving research into the phenomenon of cancel culture using VOSViewer allows us to see trends in the development of research on this issue from the late 20th century to the present, which will make it easier to examine the data using mapping tools.
