Цель исследования – проанализировать эффекты от введения система быстрых платежей ЦБ (далее СБП) на структуру и доходность балансов банков в России. В подтверждение теоретических выводов построена эконометрическая модель на основе Random Effects регрессии для оценки краткосрочного влияния на отрасль, которая позволила количественно оценить влияние на основные показатели банковского сектора, несмотря на достаточно сильные внешние возмущения, такие как финансовый кризис 2018 года и коронавирусная пандемия. Все исследования основаны на официальных данных 101 и 102 формы банковской отчетности с сайта ЦБ РФ. Результатом исследований стали как положительные, так и отрицательные последствия для банков – с ростом прибыли растут расходы на обслуживание данных платежей. Также в статье описаны возможные дальнейшие исследования в этой области.

Analysis of the impact of the introduction of a system of fast payments on the structure of the balance sheet and profits of banks

The purpose of the study is to analyze the effects of the introduction of the Central Bank's prompt payment system (hereinafter, the SBP) on the structure and profitability of banks' balance sheets in Russia. In support of the theoretical conclusions, an econometric model based on Random Effects regression was built to assess the short-term impact on the industry, which allowed us to quantify the impact on the main indicators of the banking sector despite rather strong external perturbations, such as the financial crisis of 2018 and the coronavirus pandemic. All studies are based on official data of 101 and 102 bank reporting forms from the CBR website. The studies resulted in both positive and negative consequences for banks – as profits increase, the cost of servicing these payments increases. The article also describes possible further research in this area.
