Нарративная геронтология как способ исследования феноменологической стороны опыта старения

Темой данной статьи является рассмотрение нарративной геронтологии – герменевтически ориентированной области, транслирующей во многом феноменологический взгляд на старение. Нарративная геронтология внимательно исследует повествовательный опыт позднего этапа жизни, опираясь на метафору "жизни как истории", чтобы проникнуть во внутренний мир человека. Представители этого подхода утверждают, что биографическая сторона человеческой жизни сложна и требует изучения не меньше, чем, биологическая. Указываются преимущества нарративной перспективы для геронтологии. Цель исследования предполагает расширение понимания социально-философских категорий старости и старения за счет обращения к идеям и методологии нарративной геронтологии. Научная новизна работы заключается в указании основных положений и базовых работ, сформировавших границы и концептуальное содержание нарративной геронтологии, в обосновании необходимости развития идей этого направления для формирования всеобъемлющей геронтологической теории. В результате с помощью нарративных исследований биографического материала систематизирован опыт изучения позднего жизненного периода, обогащено социально-философское знание о старости и старении.
