Deconstruction of algorithmic identity: Poststructuralist perspectives on digital subjectivity

This article analyses algorithmic identity from the perspective of poststructuralist philosophy and its impact on the representation of the autonomous individual in the digital age. Under the influence of the concepts of Michel Foucault, Jacques Derrida and Gilles Deleuze, the process of transforming subjectivity into a dynamic and fragmented structure by interacting with algorithms.  The article shows that algorithms not only determine the behaviour of individuals, but also generate new forms of collective identification or "polysubjectivity", where the boundaries between "human" and "machine" are blurred. A poststructuralist allows us to view the impact of algorithms as a process that gives identity flexibility and openness to change, which undermines the traditional foundations of the ontology of the subject. This article thus offers a new conceptual perspective for analysing subjectivity as a complex processual phenomenon that takes shape at the intersection of technological and cultural structures and opens up possibilities for alternative self-understanding through the deconstruction of algorithmic prescriptions.
